Let’s be honest, it’s not always fun or easy to stay fit. However, you should also be honest with yourself about the fact that it’s critical if you want to remain healthy for years to come. Luckily, it will become easier with time and eventually become second nature to those whom really care about their body. You just need to be willing to commit a bit of time and effort. You might even enjoy yourself.
Rewards are a great way to motivate yourself. Something as simple as new workout clothes might be enough to keep you on track in your exercise program. Even a small new item can motivate you to go to the gym and show it off.
30 Minutes
Are you short on time for exercising? Break up the workout into two separate routines. All you need to do is divide your time in half; expanding the total time you spend working out isn’t necessary. Instead of running for one hour, run 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening. You can complete one of your workouts at the gym and the other outdoors if you would prefer to avoid going to the gym twice.
If you want to work your triceps, pushups are the way to go. But not the standard push-up, if you turn your hands with the fingers facing towards each other, it will target the triceps. Those triceps will melt like butter then harden like stone beneath the stress of these high-quality push-ups.
Having strong thighs will insure against injuring your knees. Torn ligaments behind the kneecap are a common injury obtained from sports and other physical activities. Quads and hamstrings are the muscles to strengthen to make sure similar injuries don’t happen to you. Leg extensions and curls are a couple of great exercises to work these muscles.
Fitness is not easy or always fun, but if you develop a program that corresponds to your interests and find a way to remain motivated, you will truly enjoy working out. There’s no reason you should have to lift yourself by your bootstraps and design a healthy fitness routine all on your own. The next step is to decide you are going to get started with your fitness program!
